Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Fund for the Promotion and Development of Education for Persons with Disabilities, the Office of Special Education Administration, and the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education, organized the project:

“Developing Innovative Learning Management by Using Concrete Learning Materials Integrated with Learner Competency Development to Enhance Skills for Students with Visual, Hearing, Intellectual, Learning Disabilities, and Autism” (Northeastern Region) The project was held from 18–19 October 2025 at Charoen Thani Hotel, Khon Kaen Province.

     The opening ceremony was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Duangporn Saengthong, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, as the chairperson. Mr. Witoorawong Thong Witoorangkul, Director of Special Education Center, Education Area 11, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, presented the objectives of the project to the chairperson.

     The project was attended by 393 teachers and educational personnel from 20 special education centers in the Northeastern region. Its objective was to provide teachers and educational personnel with knowledge and understanding of active learning strategies using concrete learning materials integrated with learner competency development. Participants were trained to apply this knowledge effectively for students with disabilities, and to develop a model for creating innovative learning management that can be expanded to all 77 provincial special education centers nationwide, reaching more than 1,200 teachers and educational personnel, ultimately aiming to sustainably enhance the quality of education for students with disabilities.
