Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and OTEPC Join Forces to Empower Educators: Advancing Research, Media Creation, and AI Training for Thai Education.

     On June 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel (OTEP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic cooperation and the management of teacher and educational personnel resources. The aim is to elevate the quality of Thai education and concretely advance welfare and technology policies for Thai teachers and educational staff.

     The MOU was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and Dr. Peeraphan Hemmarat, Secretary-General of OTEP. Executives from both organizations witnessed the signing ceremony. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to fostering academic cooperation, developing teaching and learning skills, creating training curricula in Creative AI, researching innovations, and continuously improving the welfare of teachers and educational personnel at all levels. The ceremony took place at the University Council Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

     Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, stated, “This collaboration marks another significant step for the university in driving its social mission, especially for teachers and educational personnel nationwide. We are ready to support the development of knowledge, the creation of teaching and learning media and technology, as well as AI-related curricula that can be practically applied in classrooms to sustainably raise the quality of Thai education.”

     Dr. Peeraphan Hemmarat, Secretary-General of OTEP, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “OTEP’s mission is to enhance the quality of life and security for Thai teachers and educational personnel. This collaboration with Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University will enable us to fully develop new knowledge through research, training, and the use of educational technology. This will genuinely help alleviate burdens, increase happiness, and improve the well-being of teachers.”
